TIMES-PARNELL ENQUIRY.
PROTRACTED NATURE OF THE PROCEEDINGS. SIB J. HANNEN PROTESTING, London, December 13. Before the Times Parnell Commission yesterday Sir James Hinnen, Ptesident of the Commission, protested .'gainst tho protracted nature of the proceedings, whiolx at the present rate threatened to extend ovor years. Sir Charles Russell, counsel for the Irish members, agreed with the remarks of the President, and throw down a challenge to the other silo to show that his client was connected with outrages. Sir R. E. Webster, counsel for the Times, undertook to curtail tho evidence wherever possible.
