Stout, Tole and Bryce.
Wellington, yesterday. Mr Kerr, member for Nelson, and Mr Fitchett, member for Dunedin Central, have offered to resign in Sir B. Stout's favonr, bnt he has declined both offers. Auckland, last night. Mr Bruce, member for Rangitikei, has offered to retire in Mr Bryce’s favour, but the offer has been declined. Much regret is felt here that Mr Bryce will not be in the new Parliament. An Auckland country member has offered to resign in Tele's favour, but Tole has refused the offer.
