DEATH PENALTY WANTED BY NATIONAL PARTY
WELLINGTON, Nov. 13 Mr K. J. Holyoake said that only in the most extreme cases would the National Party impose the death penalty. The Party, after consulting legal authorities, would introduce a bill to provide for capital punishment. We believe it must be there for only most extreme cases;” he said. “It wiil not be a party measure. I will tell you frankly where/ I will vote. I will vote in favour of it.”
