Counting Chickens!
CHRISTCHURCH, November 13. Mr S. G. Holland, Opposition Leader, said: “I have always tried to guard against over-opcimism, but nobody whp has attended my meetings could be other than very optimistic at the outcome of the general election. “The attendances at our meetings have been more than double those of the other side, and the enthusiasm appears quite boundless. Without counting chickens before they are hatched, I can say our prospects have never been as good as they fire at this moment”.
