(N:Z.P.A.—REUTER CABLE) _ (Rec. 9.30). LONDON, Nov. 5. The Pharmaceutical Society’s Council, representing twenty-six thousand chemists in Britain, have sent a letter to Rt. Hon. C. Attlee, Prime Minister, protesting against the charging of one shilling for the national health service prescriptions. In their protest they said: “This charge will not deter, to any serious extent, those who are misusing the health service, it will be prejudicial to the use of the health service by persons in-need of medical attention”.
