WRESTLING

McCready v. joginder P.A. • WELLINGTON, October 14. Earl McCready to-night retained the Empire professional wrestling title, beating Tiger Joginder by two falls to one. After being warned for butting, Joginder lost on a penalty fall. The referee broke a stranglehold by Joginder. The latter then grabbed the referee, and demonstrated how his hold was applied. Joginder got his fall with a slumber hold. McCready won the bout with his Canadian southern cross hold.
