British Tractor Capitalist’s Huge Claim on Ford Co.

LONDON, October 6.

'Two millionaires, Henry Ford 11, and Harry Ferguson, the British tractor magnate, met in London today to try to settle, privately, one of the world’s biggest lawsuits. They failed.

The Daily Express says that In a room at Claridge’s Hotel they discussed Mr Ferguson’s claim for £62,750,000 for alleged infringement of his tractor patents.Mr Ford did v most of the talking. Then Mr Ferguson got up and he amazed the F’ord entourage of 15 by saying, “I cannot accept.” Mr Ferguson’s claim has been filed for nearly two years, but has not yet come before the United States courts.
