CHURCH REUNION TALKS IN BRITAIN

LONDON, Oct 5.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Fisher, said today that conversations on reunion between representatives of the Free Churches and the Church of England were taking place “in the happiest of spirits.” He was hopeful, he said, that the participants would be able to produce a report which would 'contain s'ome concrete proposals. “To my rather practical mind, that means a great deal,” he said. “The plan will be submitted to the churches for them to decide.” ■ LONDON, Oct 5. The Associated Press Prague correspondent says that unofficial,' but reliable reports today claim, that sevhundred Prague citizens were arrested in a big police round-up last night. One estimate placed the number seized in the dragnet at nearly 1000.
