DEAD PATIENT MAKE NO COMPLAINTS!

LONDON, May 22. The General Medical Council, which is the disciplinary body of the British Medical Association, will discuss Dr. Edwin Earton’s admission that he has taken the life of a patinet, says the Daily Mail. The council cannot, take action unless a complaint is made direct and officially to it. No complaint has so far been made. The Home Office considers the matter outside its province and will not take action. Dr Barton, who is 85, retired 15 years ago. He said: “I don’t care what action is taken against me. I don’t think they can prosecute me, but, either way, I don’t care.” The director of Fublic Prosecutions said: “The public must wait and see.”
