WATAROA SALE
The National Mortgage and Agency Coy., Ltd. report on the Wataroa stock sole held on Thursday, as follows:— There was a yarding of approximately 145 fat cattle and 50 store cattle offered to a good attendance of buyers. The cattle came forward in excellent condition, competition being very keen and prices being fully up to recent Addington rates. The best beef realised from 50s to 55s per hundred lbs, with an occasional pen of choice beef exceeding the above figure. The following is a list of our principal sales: A/c. E. A. Gibb, 8 steers at £lB 2s 6d, 6 at £l6 17s 6d, 2 cows at £l7 12s 6d; account L. R. Gibb and Son, 9 steers at £2O 7s 6d, Bat £lB 7s 6d, 9 at £lB 17s 6d, 10 at £l9 12s 6d, 2 cows at £lO 12s 6d; account Messrs Mcßride Bros. 11 rising 2yr. store steers at £7 2s 6d, 9 store heifers at £5 17s Gd.
