Vic Caltaux, the New Zealand wel-ter-weight who is expected to return to the Dominion from Australia, has been signed up by the Hutt Valley Boxing Association to meet J. Collins (Palmerston North) at the Petone Recreation Ground on February 9. This will be the first of four openair bouts to be staged by the association at Petone within the next two months. Tentative dates have been fixed for other bouts. On March 2 Caltaux will meet Bos Murphy. The final two bouts will see the renowned Vic Patrick, Australian welter-weight and light-weight champion, in action, the provisional dates being the end of March and at Easter. Patrick will meet Murphy in one of these matches. The Hutt Valley Association expects to have accommodation for 10,000 at the Petone Recreation Ground lor the Patrick-Murphy fight. Latest, advice from Australia was that. Patrick would meet Tommy Burns in a wel-ter-weight title bout on February 2. RACKET OVER SEAT BOOKINGS SYDNEY, Jan. 29 Twenty-four hours before booking opened for seats for the Burns-Pat-rick fight, which is to take place next Saturday, a queue for tickets began to form.
