NEW PENICILLIN
(Rec. 9.30). WASHINGTON, Nov. 23. The Carnegie Institute has produced a new form of penicillin mould, one increasing the yield of penicillin nearly threefold. It is produced by treating common penicillin mould by massive doses of X-rays. - The. new method promises greatly to reduce the cost.
