MOTHERS NECK BROKEN
BEFORE BIRTH OF BABY. (Rec. 11.0). LONDON, March 19. A woman who had her neck broken in a recent V-bomb raid, gave birth on Sunday to a baby in a south of England hospital. The baby, is a fine, sturdy child. The mother is Mrs Boor. She, her husband, and her daughter, Jean, aged three, were all buried in debris when a V-bomb exploded. The father and daughter escaped injury, but Mrs Boor was pinned down by an iron bedstead. Her head, neck, and a’ considerable part of her body had to be encased in plaster. It was under these conditions that the baby was born.
