YOUNG TAXI-DRIVER’S CONFESSION.

(Rec. 10.40). NEW YORK, March 19. A taxi-driver in the city of Little Rock, in Arkansas, has confessed to murdering six people, including his wjfe. He is James .Hall. He is 24 wears of age. Hall is the proprietor of the Lonely Hearts Club for Servicemen. In his possession there was found a book containing the names and addresses of fifty women. Hall collected a commission from these women, after arranging meetings for them with servicemen. Hall was arrested last week, after he had murdered, and burned, the body of an Arkansas State Building Inspector, J'. D. Newcombe. In confessing to the six murders, Hall said: “I killed a Negro woman in / a hold-up when I was 17. That start- ' ed me off.” He confessed that he had made less than £6O from the murders.
