To mark the 70th. birthday of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, the President of the World Zionist Organisation and of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, Jews all over the world are inscribing his name in the Golden Book in Jerusalem. Money also has been collected for the purchase of a large tract of land in Palestine, on which Jewish survivors from Europe will be settled In Jerusalem, the police in two raids, arrested sixteen suspected members of the Jewish National Military Organisation, says Reuter’s Jerusalem correspondent.
