SPRING BLOOMS DISPLAYED
Competition was keen and the standard high in all sections at the Cobden Horticultural Society’s spring show held on Saturday. Mr W. Buchanan won the Society’s blue ribbon for the premier daffodil. In the cut flower section the West Coast Horticultural Council’s blue ribbon was won by Miss Cheverton, and six named dahlias donated by Mrs Trott for competition in the decorative section were won by Miss Craig.
