The following is the weather report and forecast for the West Coast: Situation: An intense anti-cyclone is centred on the North Island, and a series of westerly depressions are passing to the south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. on Tuesday:— Winds from a westerly quarter, fresh or s'trong at times. Weather; Cloudy to overcast, with occasional rain. Temperatures: Moderate. Further outlook: Similar conditions.
