COPENHAGEN STRIKE
(Rec. 9.50) LONDON, Aug. 18. A Stockholm message said a twentyfour hour strike in Cogenhagen paralysed municipal offices, docks, large warehouses, and shops. Germans took no measures to stop the strike. Germans now have to deal with unrest among their own troops in Denmark as well as with Danish patriots. It is stated some German troops mutinied as their train was about to leave Copenhagen last week. Their comrades turned guns on them. Several mutineers were killed or wounded.
