FLYING BOMBS

HOSPITAL EVACUEES. (Rec. 8.40.) LONDON, August 20. The Minister of Health has arranged for the transfer of patients who are fit to travel from hospitals in tne London area to those in safe areas. A considerable number have already gone to Scotland and Wales in special ambulance trains. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY'S ATTACKS., (Rec. 7.40.) LONDON, August 20. A communique states: “For a short period on Friday night and again in the early hours of daylignt on Saturday and on Saturday afternoon there was enemy activity with flying bombs, directed against tne southern counties of England, including the London area. Damage and casualties were caused.”
