NEW SOVIET ANTHEM
•e Instead of “Internationale”
(Rec. 8.45.) LONDON, Dec. 20. The Russian Government has decided to replace the text of “The Internationale” with new words
The Moscow radio says: “This i s 111 accordance with the spirit and essence of the Soviet Order. The present anthem ‘The Internationale* does not reflect basic changes which have occurred in Russia as a result of the victory of the Soviet Order.”
