330 Candidates
(Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June- 10. There has been 330 candidates, nominated for 137 seats in the''pail Eireann, for Eire's general election. This is a record number. The day of the elections is Tuesday, June 22. The candidates include the following :— Government Parti; (Fianna Fail) 105 candidates; Opposition (Cosgrave Party) 88 candidates; Labour Parts, 75 candidates; Farmers’ Party, Independents, and smaller partys, 62 candidates.
