Th e appointment of a receiver in Macduffs, Ltd.,, department stores, will b fi terminated on September 30, on which date the money owing to deferred creditors will' be completely paid/ off. The receiver was appointed on November 1, 1938. The appointment was followed by a reorganisation of the company, and sinc e then steady progress has been made. In September. 1939, a payment of 7 S 6d in the £ was made to deferred creditors, and a similar amount was paid in February of this year
