HON. A. HAMILTON

SPEECH AT WESTPORT. WESTPORT, March 19. Hon. Adam Hamilton addressed a large gathering in the Theatre Royal Westport, this evening in furtherance of recruiting, and was given a very favourable hearing. Mr Hamilton regretted the serious illness of the Prime Minister, and said that, though he was politically opposed to him, the Prime Minister was one of his best friends. All were working together now in the cause of the Empire. Shortly after his arrival Mr Hamilton was afforded an opportunity of seeing bulldozers, tree dozers, and discers at work in clearing and otherwise improving bush land, and was very favourably impart of thb question.
