BRITISH TRADE WITH URUGUAY. (Received March 19, 7 p.m.; MADRID, March 13A new trade treaty between England and Spain has been signed here. (Received March 19, 7.30 p.m.; MADRID, March 18. I’ll e Anglo-Spanish trade agreement, for wliich negotiations iyan on November 14th last, has signed. Spain is reported to be exchanging fruit, minerals, and wines for British fertilisers, jute, cotton and raw materials. (Received March 19, 8.30 p.m. > RUGBY, March 18. Uruguay has been removed from the list of destinations covered by a recent Defence (Finance) Regulation, provid ng that certain commodities can only be exported to the destinations named therein if the foreign exchange proceeds in one of the currencies named are made available to the British Exchange Control.
