Question of War Declaration (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn ) (Received January 15, 9.45 p.m.) LONDON, January 15. Sir Walter Citrine (Secretary of the British Trades Union Congress) was interviewed after his return from the Trades Union Conference in Paris. He said that he had been asked whether he thought that Britain should declare war on Russia. He had replied “No," he feeling that it would be unpopular, especially with the Labour Party. He said thousands of Britons felt that, despite the recent happenings, there still was something in the Russian Revolution that was worth preserving.
