310 NAZIS
Arrested in Hungary (Received December 2, 10 p.m.) BUDAPEST, December 1. The Hungarian police announce that 310 arrests have been made, following Hungarian Nazis engaging >in street demonstration, in which shop windows, mostly of Jewish premises, were smashed and other damage was done. .
• NAZI SAINT? GOERING’S PICTURES. (Received December 2, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 1. "The Time’s” Berlin correspondent says that Bailiffs have been prohibited from seizing pictures of Field Marshal Goering, because a Neubrandenburg Court has ruled that these are necessary to the spiritual development of every modest German household. The decision is the outcome of a case in which the right was sought to seize an oil painting of Marshal Goering by the father of seven children.
