Appeal for Search Rejected

Despite appeals made by the South Shields Municipality, the Admiralty and the Air Ministry has announced that a search for the crew of the ship missing on th Atlantic with 39 aboard, the “Anglo-Australian” is impossible, owing to the vast area of the ocean and the limited range of aircraft.
