UNRULY PASSENGERS FINED

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 23

Disorderly conduct in a railcar on the Wairarapa line on February 27 resulted in Eric Basil Thompson being fined 30s with costs 125,, and Owen Dixon and George Hirst being fined 20s and costs £1 6s. The evidence showed that the accused,, after drinking from a bottle, became unruly, causaag some women passengers to become almost hysterical. The passengers were jostled, and were caused a lot of annoyance.
