SEA OF GALILEE
NOT FOR FLYING BOATS. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received October 18, at 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 17. In deference to religious sentiment, the British and Palestine Governments have abandoned their proposal that the Sea of Galilee should be used by the Imperial Airways Coy’s flying boats on the Anglo-Australian route. The use of the Dead Sea, as an alternative descending place, is being considered, but no decision has yet. been reached.
