(Our Own Correspondent). REEFTON, October 13. Miss A. Melville and Miss I. Wilson are on a visit to Mrs McGregor B’ack’s Point. An extensive slip has taken plan at- New Crccjk, near Lyell, as the result of the heavy rain, and it is expected that some days will elapse before it can be cleared. The- slip at Baker’s, on the Bullet Gorge road, has Ijeen cleared, but motorists are advised to drive very carefully over this piece, as it has a particularly slippery surface.
