LENDING TO CHINA
British Credit TO FINANCE EXPORTS. (Aus. d- N.Z. Calle Assn.) (Received October 13. at 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 12. The “Daily Herald” says: “Negotiat'ons have been com}leted for a virtual loan of several nillions sterling to China. This is by neans of export credits. In return for the loan there are substantial orders from China for Br'tish goods. The loan will be a slurp warning to Japan of Britain’s undiminished interest in China, where British prestige will consequently receve a stimulus.
