(Aus. and N.Z P»Wp Assn.) SYDNEY, August 10 Many patients had a terrifying experience when part of the district hospital at Hornsby was destroyed by fire to-day. Nurses, residents and ambulancc men worked feverishly and removed till the 42 patients from inc building, while the fire raged about them. None was injured. The fire originated in the boi'er-room. the damage was about €4OOO. WHEELBARROW CRAZE. SYDNEY, August 12. The barrow-pusher, Darwin, despite a poisoned leg. is carrying on to Sydney. He and his passenger. Amiguet, received a remarkable we'eome when they crossed the border at Albury. WESTRALIAN MURDER. PERTH, August 12. A shacking tragedy occurred at Norseman when Erank Gedden fatally stabbed his wife Violet, then placed a detonator in his mouth and blew his head off.
