H o stated that a recent striking development was one in surgery of the chest for diseases in the lung, such *is UubcTCulosis; but it was only of value in certain selected eases. Regarding diabetes, he said that very good results wore being obtained from insulin, plus a W& liberal diet than than which was allowed when insulin was first discovered.
