SPEED RECORD
CAMPBELL’S NEXT ATTEMPT. (Received August 12, 8.10 p.m., LONDON, August 12. Sir Malcolm Campbell, when he attempts to reach a speed of three hundred miles an hour in Utah in Septiember, will take cinema photographs of the dashboard, showing the gauges, with a view to determining whether the maximum engine efficiency is achieved. Another camera, buried in the track, will reveal the distortion of the tyres.
