MURRAY CREEK COMPANY. REPORT FOR. MONTH OF SEPTEMBER. The Murray Creek Gold Mining Coy, is as follows:— No. 2 Level —Repairs have been carried on, a distance of 111 ft. having been cleaned up and retimbered. The face of drive is just about through the fallen ground reported last week. No. 3 Level.—Seven feet has been broken down and another three feet stripped, which maintains a width of 2 feet. No. 4 Level. —Driving south in this fact has been carried on steadily. A distance of 25 feet having been advanced for the month.
There is no appearance of reef as yet in the face, although a reef track is still being followed, and the countryrock for the last few days is looking very promising. NEW PRICE RECORD. LONDON. October 2. Cold is now £7 2s 2|d per fine oz.
