FATAL CASE AT HAMILTON. AUCKLAND, August 14. A fatal case *of encephalitis lethar-gic-a (sleepy sickness) occurred at tne Waikato Hospital, when a nurse employed in the hospital, Margaret Mary Mceking. aged 23, daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Meeking, of Horahora. died of the disease Miss Meeking, who had been on the hospital staff jfince 1931, became ill a fortnight ago. No other cases of the disease have been reported in th<Waikato.
