W.F.A. MEETING. Tho> weekly meeting of Ihe W.F.A. was held last evening, those present being Messrs W. Robertson (President), J. B. Paton, E. Flood, F. M. Smyth. C. Restieaux (Secretary), and W. Rafferty (Referees’ Delegate). An apology was received for the absence of A. Airey. The report of the manager of the Coast team, Mr E. Flood, was received as satisfactory. Reports of referees C. Restieaux and C. Hogg were received as satisfactory. Technical were declared winners of the Third Grade competition. Cobden and Technical teams were raised to Junior status. Waiuta Garb’s nominati'on for the junior competition was accepted, and permission was granted Grey mouth to play Waiuta next Sunday. It was decided that August 18th be submitted to Nelson as the date to play a. representative match at Nel son. Mr C. Restieaux was appointed manager <of the Coast team. After discussion the Secretary was instructed tn open negotiations with Marist (Wellington) Club, with a view to arranging games with the Coast team. It was decided to challenge Buller for Emm’s Shield. The accounts of Messrs Kells and S. Martin were passed. FIXTURES. Senior: Runanga v. Greymouth (RNelson), at Victoria. Park, at 2.45. Juniors; Blackball v. Runanga, at Blackball (C. Hogg), at 2.45; Technical v. Taylorville, at Technical (J. Mossop), at 2.30; Marist v. Cobden, at Victoria Park (J. Clark), at 1.15; Waiuta v. Groymoufh on Sunday, at Waiuta (A. Hamill), at 2.30. Fourth Grade; Tech A v. Grey A, at Tech (C. Hodgson), at 1.15; Grey B v. Cobden A. at Victoria Park (A.. McLean), at 12 noon; Tech B v. Cobden B. at Tech (F. M. ’Smyth), at 12 noon.
