Appeal Judges REDUCE PENALTIES. IX Till'; HI.'OXZE that case. WELLINGTON, July ill. I’he decision of Hie Racing Conference Judges was given today in the case ol |L A. I’owell and the horse Bronze Tray; the ease of C. R. Pew <■ll, and the case of L. 11. Watson. IL A. Powell applied for the removal of the balance of the term of disqualification for three years as from December 3, 1932, imposed upon him and Bronze 'Pray; and (’. R. Powell applied to have the term of tin* disqualification for lile imposed upon him as from December 3. 1932, reviewed, and. if possible, lifted. 'l'he Judgment in these two cases was as follows: — “After consideration of all the circumstances the Judges have decided to reduce the disqualification of R. A. I’owell and the horse Bronze Tray, so that it shall expire on the third day of June, 1935, and that the disqualification of C. R. Powell be reduced to five years, expiring on the third day of December, 1937.” Watson applied for the removal or remission of the term of disqualification for seven years as from October 6, 1931, imposed upon him. The judgment in this case was; “Tn view of the economic conditions, ami Watson’s circumstances and health, tin* Judges consider it reasonable Io reduce Watson’s disqualification to five years in lieu of seven years, as previously imposed, and do so accordingly.” MELBOURNE, July 31.
