Re-Valuation Wanted
ON PRODUCE PRICE BASIS.. STRATFORD. June 7. At a largely attended meeting un der the auspices of the Farmers Union the following resolution was carried unanimously: That this meeting favours a general revaluation of all rural land, taking a. definite standard price of produce as the basis of re* valuation, interest to be adjusted accordingly on the rise or fall of pro ducc prices on a standard so arranged, also that no mortgage be called up until the valuation on or above basis <akes place. GRADING MILK. (Pep Press Association) STRATFORD. June 7. A meeting of a special committee representative of the dairying indus try, recently set up to consider var ions aspects of the industry, was held under the chairmanship of the Min* .«ter of Agriculture. The Committee further discussed the question of tests i'.ir milk grading, and went fullv into the method of carry ill"’ out grading, and the method oi payment. Several points were leit over for discussion with the Crown Law' Office.
