To Protect Fatherland FRONTIER GUARD LEAVES. (Received June 7 at 6.33 p.m.) VIENNA, June 6. The first detachments of Hcifw'Chr for service as a special frontier guard have left Innsbruck for tho German frontier with machine guns Doctor Stumpf, the Governor of Tyrol, said the Government relied on them to protect the Fatherland in this hour of danger. TREATMENT OF JEWS. (Aus. & N.Z. Cable Assn.) GENEVA, June 6. Following the Jurists’ decision that Bernheim was qualified to petition the League, the Council adopted Mr. Lester’s report. The Germans declared that they wore not convinced by the Jurists’ opinion, and they resented the Norwegian, M. Lange’s suggestion that States bound by minority treaties should inform officials of the implication thereon. PAPER BANNED. BERLIN, June 6. The “Dailv Herald” (Labour) has been banned in Germany.
