INDIAN UNREST
NUN SLADE GAOLED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) CALCUTTA, February 18. Miss Slade, daughter of the late Admiral Slade, of England, and a disciple of Gandhi, was arrested for refusing to quit Bombay, as ordered. She had been visiting Gandhi, in gaol. LATER. Miss Madeline Slade was sentenced to three months’ simple imprisonment.
