WEDDING.

CUNNIFFE—LYIVCH. A .very pretty wedding was solemnised at St Patlick’s Church yesterday morning, the contracting parties being, Alary Ct cilia, only daughter of Mrs and the late Michael Lynch, of Brick Street, aud Thomas, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Cunniffe, Shakespeare Street. The bride who entered the church on the arm Of her brother, Air John Lynch looked charming in a gown of white satin and georgette trimmed v>itb pearls, and completed with a beautiful tulle veil, which fell gracefully from a coronet of orange blossoms; her shoes, which were of silver, adding ta the charming effect, and she carried a bouquet of sweot peas apd xnaid.n hair fern. Miss May Tracy, cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Anno McGowan, were the bridesmaids, the formler wearing a charming costume of gr| icn crepe de chine and mop cap to match, grey shoes and stockings Completing her toilettej while the latter wore a handsome frock of pink crepe de chine with mop cap, and shoes and stockings to match. Both till bridesmaids carried bouquets of sweet peas and maiden hair fern. The two little flower girls, Irene Barclay and Hazel Hall, were attired in white crepe de chine, and carried baskets of sweet peas. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr W. Cunnifil/, brother of the bridegroom, and Mr Andrew Lynch, brother of the bride, assisted asi groomsjmiafn. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father A. Gregory, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. ThJj) happy couple Left the Church to the strains of the “Wedding March,” played by Miss Moira McSherry, and the wedding party Adjourned to Moore's Tearooms, where Airs Lynch rcceiv/ d her guests in a of black satin, trimmed with fawn. Mrs Cunniffe, mother of the bridegroom, wore a pretty navy blue silk dress with hat to match. The customary toast wer*j duly honoured. The happy couple later left by the Christchurch express on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a neat costume of fawn tweed, with fur hat ta match.
