The position of schoolmaster held by him for four yea rd will be» temporarily filled by Mr C. Chamberlain of Christchurch.

The polling booths in the district for the forthcoming election are situated as follows:—At Dobson the school; at Taylorville, the school; and at Wallsend, the. Council offices.
