GENERAL ELECTION.
Labour Candidates. (Special to Argus.) WELLINGTON, August 24. There.wil ibe no increase in the numb r of seats contested by the Labour Party at the next elections, states Mr Walter Nash. National Secretary of the Party. There will be some changes in electorates, seats which were fought last time being abandoned, and other electorati s which held no Labour candidates three years ago being contested. But the total will be unchanged. REFORM LEAGUE CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, August 24. The New Zealand Political Reform League has been holding a conference this week at which Mr Coates and most of the Ministers delivered addresses. A number of remits were considered, some of which were sent on t 0 the Dominion executive for consideration and action. Members affirmed their continued confidence and conviction that they would win through in the coming elections.
