N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. Moynihan Has a Win. AUCKLAND, August 24. The N' \v Zealand Boxing championships were continued to-night. The following arc the results:— FLYWEIGHT. Richmond (Otagu) beat Pearcey (Auckland) on points. Knapp (Wellington') beat Gray. (Wanganui) on points. BANTAM. Knuckey (Hawke’s Bay) beat Davies (Auckland) on point*. Hume (Welling'on) beat Roebuck (Taranaki) by a knock-out in the second round. FEATHERWEIGHTS. Leslie (Auckland) beat Roderick (Gisborne) on points. Donovan (Taranaki) heat Terris (.Ashburton). The latter retired in th ' second round with an injured leg. LIGHTWEIGHT. McKnight (Frankton) beat Jones (Auckland) on points. Fulcher (O.tago) beat Probert (Hawke’s Bay) on points. WELTERS. Stone (Welling'on) beat McDonald (Manawatu) on points. Moynihan (Greymouth) beat Ferguson (Hawke’s Bay).
Adams’ (South’and) beat Dombroski (Taranaki) on point-. MIDDLEWEIGHTS Nichol (Southland) heat Waite (Wellington) on points. Turner (Marlborough) heat Davis (Otago) on points. LIGHT-HEAVY. Pearce (Wellington) beat Mullins (Auckland) on points. HEAVYWEIGHT. Carlson (Wanganui) heat McCarthnev (Auckland) on points. Campbell (North Otago) heat Hoop er (Wellington). The latter was disqualified in the second round for holding. The trials will be decid'd to-mor-row night.
