It is semi-officially announced that the agreement is in sight on the AngloEgyptian trouble, on the basis of Britain being assured that certain of her fears are unfounded, together with an admission that the Egyptian Parliament will in future take it into account that certain matters of a military and diplomatic character must be discussed by it with the greatest circumspection. LONDON. June 10. In the House of Commons, Mr G. Locker Lampson (C.), replying for the Government to an inquiry relating to the control of the Hgyptiau Army, said that friendly conversations between Lord Lloyd and the Egyptian Government were being emitiimwl.
