The Boyal party were favoured with fine weather to-flay for their fishing oft Cape Brett, and, though no details have yet been received, it is reported that tlie Duke of York caught at least one fish, a Reremai shark, weighing 130 pounds. The Mayor to-day received « message from His' Roval Highness expressing his and the Duchess’s appreciation of the welcome, accorded them by the citizens ot Auckland. The Chairman of the Education Board has also received a message stat in"' Their Royal Highnesses had greatlv”enjoved the splendid display made by the 'children in the Domain yester day. THE ROYAL BABY. QUEEN’s'-fNTEREST. 'LONDON, Feb. 23. The Duke and Duchess of York’s baby is thriving at Buckingham Palaeo nursery. She is taken to the Queen ’s room daily from 9.30 to 11 a.m. After that she is given an airing in the Park. She also spends tea time with the Queen, who wirelesses! the Duchess daily, wording the messages herself.
