Week in connection with the official opening of the Grey Power Board Service and Power. This will take place about the beginning of August and no better time could be chosen as all the Spring goods will be on display in the various shop windows. The executive of the last Shopping Week have already got the matter well in hand, and will call a meeting of business men at an early date. In the meantime, they have decided to advertise for the best written comprehensive .suggestions fop a programme of events, within the capacity of Greymouth to carry out. Such suggestions are to cover sports, entertainments, trade and business display. The prize is offered not fo r Literary Efforts, but for Practical Suggestions. Full particulars will be advertised in both the “Argus” and “Star” issuesWatch for further particulars later.
