THE REST WIN. Mouat Gets 13 Points. AUCKLAND, July- 7. The League football tria] inarch was played to-day, between th e Auckland rep s and the combined team drawn from the rest of New Zealand. The game resulted in a win for the latter team by 28 points to 21. There were many bright flashes of individual play in the game, and the match, which was attended by about four thousand people, was greatly enjoyed. Tries were scored for the combined team by Wilson-llall, Sanders (three), Desmond and Mouat. Four of the winners’ trie s were converted by Mouat, Mouat also kicked a penalty goal. Tries were scored for Auckland by Dclgrosso (2), Lewis, Webb, Littlewood. Tries were converted by Mansill (three). The Final Trial. TEAMS FOK SATURDAY. AUCKLAND, July 7. The final trial matches in connection with the selection of the Now Zealand League rep team for the tour of Britain will be played at Carlaw Park on •Saturday, when the Probables will meet the Possibles, and A and B teams will also play a curtain raiser.
