A DISPUTED DONATION.

Most of the members were in favour of accepting the offer, but Mr Morton and Mr G. IL Metcalfe were stronglv against it. Mr Morton contended'that after the breaking up of the old amateur Sports Club, no right-thinking member of any amateur organisation could accept th'-’ proffered donation.
